SA Office Support Volunteer - Whyalla

The program

The Social Inclusion department focuses on strengthening people’s capacity to participate in community life, maintain or regain independence and stay in their own home for longer. Red Cross does this by providing Transport and Telephone Support services to older people experiencing social isolation and/or are frail and require assistance with daily living.

The opportunity

The Office Support Volunteer will support the Social Inclusion team with administrative tasks and customer service. You will be responsible for preparing and managing office documents, making transport bookings, responding to phone and email enquires, and data entry. You will demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills and maintain client confidentiality at all times. You will be able to maintain accurate records using the Red Cross database and follow organisational procedures. Experience with Microsoft Office is desirable.

We offer on the job training and support and ongoing training opportunities as required.
