Volunteer Tea House Attendant - Nambucca Heads

  • The store is open 7.30am - 2pm weekdays

The program

Assist with raising funds through the delivery of a tea house service to support the everyday work of Red Cross. Volunteers assist to deliver the Tea House service through providing excellent customer service emphasising a positive experience for our customers

The opportunity

Red Cross is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help Red Cross branch members raise much needed funds for Red Cross services

This role suits someone who has good communication and interpersonal skills and is able to work effectively as part of a team. By joining the team you'll get the opportunity to help weary travellers experience the hospitality of Nambucca Heads Tea House and:  
                                                                                                                 
- Learn valuable food handling skills
⁻ Work with a team of committed volunteers
⁻ Meet new people and share your skills and experience with others

The impact

Volunteers help members raise funds to support Red Cross services by assisting to deliver the Tea House service.
Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World’s largest humanitarian network.

  2. Meet with us Have a chat with us about the volunteer role you have applied for and see whether it’s a good match for you and for us.
  3. Complete some checks If you are successful in getting the role we’ll ask you to complete a Police Check. In some cases a Working With Children Check may also be required.
  4. Get started! At this stage, it’s time for your induction and training as you’re now an official Red Cross Volunteer.
