Time involved: 1 - 4 hours per week
- 4- 8 hour shifts, flexible days Monday to Sunday
- Support outreach to people isolated by COVID 19
- **Please note calls are made from our call centre in Milton and cannot be made from home**
Red Cross Emergency Services TeleOutreach services provides daily wellbeing and social phone call check ins to community members isolated by COVID 19. We believe that having good social connections are essential for all aspects of health.
Be a part of Queensland's and the Red Cross emergency response to community members isolated and impacted by COVID 19. You will be there to check in on the wellbeing of Queensland's community members and know how to recognise issues and concerns.
You will need to be able to maintain accurate records of all calls by following procedures and using an online database.
As an Emergency Services TeleOutreach Volunteer, you will help community members to feel safe and connected by listening and providing a supportive voice. We offer on the job training and support and ongoing training opportunities as required.
