Restoring Family Links Volunteer - Milton

  • 1 day per week ‐ Monday‐Friday

The program
Our Migration Support Programs provide help and support to refugees, asylum seekers, immigration detainees and other people who are vulnerable as a result of migration.

The Restoring Family Links (RFL) Service in Australia is part of the International Red Cross Red Crescent global tracing network, which aims to help people find family and re-establish contact between separated and long lost family members and clarify the fate of the missing.

The opportunity
In this role you will assist the work of the Restoring Family Links program at the Australian Red Cross through the intake and assessment of new referrals through the hotline service, administration support, service promotion and community engagement.

The impact
As a Restoring Family Links volunteer, you’ll help improve the wellbeing of people suffering vulnerability as a result of migration. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World’s largest humanitarian network.
