SA Support Trainer Volunteer - Adelaide

The program

Red Cross is committed to support those who are impacted by the justice system. The Strength Within Us is a 6 week program that uses fitness based activities to deliver health and wellbeing messages and education to support the personal development of adults involved in the justice system in Murray Bridge.

The opportunity

We are looking for volunteers who have a positive attitude, great communication skills and are passionate about helping others and being a positive role model. This position will support the lead trainer to deliver the Strength Within Us program. The program runs every week on Tuesday's from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm in Murray Bridge, so you will need to commit at least once a week. A Senior First Aid certificate is desirable but a willingness to obtain one during commencement is suffice.

The impact

As a Support Trainer Volunteer you will empower different individuals and make a difference to vulnerable people in a custodial setting. You will connect with an amazing lead trainer and a team of Community Justice volunteers. Red Cross will ensure you have training and ongoing support as well as access to other volunteer opportunities within organisation.
