- At least one shift per week (Monday to Sunday)
Red Cross supports older people who live alone and are in need of social connections. Red Cross social programs match those who are not in regular social contact, with a volunteer. These programs include home visits, social outings, group activities, social and wellbeing phone calls.

- TeleChat- Social Chat
This role is suitable for persons over the age of 18 who are passionate about working with elderly people. The applicant will have good listening skills and empathy for all participants.
As a volunteer, you will enhance the lives of those who are socially isolated and you will be adding value to their wellbeing. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other learning opportunities within the World’s largest humanitarian network.
