Red Cross is an inclusive and diverse organisation that promotes equal opportunities. We have a valuable group of volunteers living with disabilities that support our work.
For this role you will be able to provide individual assistance to our team by supporting them to accomplish their routine tasks and build skills, encouraging independence. Daily tasks will vary depending on the needs of the Red Cross office, and the ability of the volunteer. You will encourage their independence and challenge them to explore new skills in a safe environment. To accomplish this you will have a friendly, patient and non-judgemental personality, and be keen to help and have fun.
You will support, encourage and nurture growth in our volunteers while developing a fun working relationship. We will provide ongoing support and training opportunities as required.
