At the Reconciliation Day event we commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey - the anniversaries of the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision. Red Cross comes together to support this event with a focus on children and their understanding of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.
As a volunteer for this event you will be welcoming guests, assisting parents who are helping their children with the cultural activities and helping as required. We are looking for enthusiastic people who enjoy being out in the community and love to meet new people.
As an event volunteer, you'll help Red Cross. Not only will you gain valuable experience, you will have the opportunity to interact with a variety of people.
