Volunteer Warehouse & Logistics Support Officer - North Melbourne

The program

Red Cross Emergency Services assists the community in times of crisis, whether that be natural or man-made. We have a small store from where we supply our teams across the state with the tools and publications that help them assist the community before, during, and after an emergency. There is also the need to assist the State Office team with logistics around training and to help keep the maintenance up of our small fleet of vehicles.

The opportunity

Assist the Emergency Services' Operations team to manage the day to day workings of the North Melbourne Emergency Services warehouse. There is also the need to assist the State Office team with logistics around training and to help keep the maintenance up of our small fleet of vehicles. A driver’s licence is essential, experience in a warehouse and a forklift licence is an added bonus.

The impact

You will be assisting our 700 Emergency Services volunteers around the state prepare the community for, respond to, and recover from disasters. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World’s largest humanitarian network.
