The Soup Patrol service runs three times a week, every week of the year, providing hot soup, fresh fruit, bread and water to people who are sleeping rough or otherwise experiencing food insecurity.
This role suits someone who can commit to at least one shift per month and would like to act as a positive role model and be friendly, encouraging and supportive to people who are socially disadvantaged. Simply by sharing a good meal and engaging in some conversation, our volunteers can start to help break down social barriers and engage with people of all backgrounds and ages.
Be part of the largest humanitarian movement in the world and help make a difference in our local community. Soup Patrol is a great way to make an immediate impact in the lives of others, meet lots of other volunteers, and engage with a diverse group of clients to fight hunger, social isolation, and poverty.
